We are seeking a Water Treatment Technician to support water quality operations in an industrial glove manufacturing facility. This role ensures consistent water standards for production by maintaining filtration systems, pumps, chemical dosing processes, and safety compliance. Ideal for candidates with hands-on industrial experience and strong attention to detail.

FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

The Water Treatment Technician plays a key role in maintaining water quality and supporting production processes within an industrial glove manufacturing facility. This position ensures that all water used for mold washing, coagulant preparation, rinsing, cooling systems, and recirculation meets required standards. The technician works independently or in a small team, performing routine monitoring, equipment maintenance, and safe chemical handling.

Responsibilities

• Conduct water analysis including pH, conductivity, turbidity, and hardness.
• Maintain filtration systems, tanks, pumps, and recirculation lines.
• Safely handle and dose treatment chemicals according to established protocols.
• Monitor system performance and adjust flows, pressures, and chemical levels as needed.
• Troubleshoot issues with pumps, valves, sensors, and treatment equipment.
• Record daily operational data, sample results, and maintenance activities.
• Follow OSHA safety standards and internal safety procedures.
• Collect water samples for quality control and compliance testing.
• Operate pumps and related mechanical equipment during routine and corrective tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in industrial water treatment or manufacturing environments.
• High School Diploma or GED (Associate Degree preferred but not required).
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• Familiarity with filtration systems, chemical dosing, and pump operation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and maintain accurate documentation.
• Understanding of safety protocols in industrial settings.
