Quick Facts

• Start Date: 09/19/2026
• Shift: Night shift, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM EST
• Duration: 2-3 weeks of coverage per month (minimum 7 shifts/month)
• Hours/Week: 40-60 hours depending on schedule
• Employment Type: Per diem/contract
• Licensure: Requires license/DEA waiver (DEA waiver needed)
• Experience: Prior radiology/nuclear medicine experience preferred

What You’ll Do

• Interpret ED radiology cases, with an average of 80-130 mixed cases per 8-hour shift
• Collaborate with residents and other radiologists on overnight shifts
• Ensure accurate case documentation and submit case logs as required
• Work with Sectra PACS, Cerner EMR, and Powerscribe dictation system
• Maintain quality standards in diagnostic imaging interpretation
• Provide coverage for emergency radiology services remotely

What You Need

Required:

• Valid medical license and DEA waiver (DEA waiver required)
• Clean malpractice history
• Experience in diagnostic radiology or nuclear medicine
• Ability to interpret mixed emergency cases rapidly and accurately

Preferred:

• Prior remote radiology experience
• Ability to cover at least 1 week per month
• Skills in resident teaching (preferred but not required)

This remote radiology position is for a leading facility in Detroit, Michigan, providing overnight diagnostic radiology coverage.
