Job Description

WESCO Industries is hiring an on-site Human Resources Assistant Manager in Denison, IA to lead recruitment and support end-to-end hiring operations. Responsibilities Own end-to-end recruitment workflows including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, reference checks, and job offers Work with program managers and department leads to evaluate staffing needs and keep job descriptions up to date Coordinate and participate in job fairs and community recruitment activities, including workforce development events Maintain applicant tracking systems and ensure hiring documentation is complete and accurate Support onboarding activities such as background checks, new hire orientation, and completion of required paperwork Assist with internal promotions, job transfers, and postings in line with organizational policy Build and maintain relationships with colleges, workforce agencies, and other talent pipelines Support compliant hiring practices aligned with EEO , ADA , and other employment laws and WESCO policies Provide regular reporting and analysis on recruitment metrics and hiring trends Support additional HR team functions as needed, including employee engagement and retention efforts Requirements Degree preferred: Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in place of formal education Experience preferred: Office, administrative assistant, or HR-related role Basic understanding of HR practices, employee documentation, confidentiality, and general office procedures and best practices in nonprofit or healthcare/human services settings Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems (ATS) Technologies Microsoft Office Applicant tracking systems (ATS) Benefits 401(k) with matching Dental insurance Flexible spending account Health insurance Life insurance Vision insurance Paid time off Paid time off and holidays Referral program Retirement plan Employee discount Competitive wage based on experience Supportive team and mission-driven work environment Opportunities for training and advancement within HR Compensation: USD 52,000 - 60,000 per year Work location: Denison, IA (onsite) #J-18808-Ljbffr
